Agreement Acceptance Overview
These Terms of Service set forth the usage rules, service scope and user usage norms for HairEthere, an on-device privacy-focused hair styling preview application designed for iPhone and iPad devices. Users may download, install and use all built-in app functions freely, and no account registration, login verification, Apple ID binding or personal identity submission is required to access core Color studio and Motion studio services. By opening and using any function of HairEthere, you confirm that you have fully read, understood and agreed to abide by all terms listed in this document. You may stop using the app and uninstall it from your device at any time if you disagree with any clause.
HairEthere maintains permanent zero facial data collection rules in all service scenarios. The app will never scan, detect, extract, cache, upload, analyze or store any facial feature points, facial contour data, facial biometric identifiers, face profile information, facial pixel data and facial recognition-related data from all portraits you import via camera or photo library. The app’s built-in program is coded to shield all facial areas of portrait images actively, and facial content will never be used for user identification, usage tracking, user profiling or database sorting in any way.
App Official Service Scope
HairEthere provides exclusive local hair preview services operated fully on user iOS devices, with no cloud service participation during the whole usage process. The app includes two core functional modules and one unified private local gallery. The Color studio supports static hair color recolor preview with ten built-in fixed hair color presets, and the Motion studio supports 5-second subtle hair movement MP4 clip generation with four exclusive motion styles. The app also provides image comparison, screen zoom, content filtering, iOS system sharing and local content deletion functions for daily user use.
All built-in service modules only process hair-area pixels of uploaded portraits solely. Neither color rendering algorithm nor dynamic video synthesis algorithm can access, read or collect facial data on portraits; no facial data will be collected to adjust hair rendering effects; no facial frame data will be reserved during video clip production; all facial content on original portraits remains unchanged and uncollected throughout all service processing steps.
On-Device Local Service Rules
All AI generation, picture editing, video rendering and gallery management operations of HairEthere rely purely on local computing power of users’ iPhone or iPad. No user content, operation records or material files will be transmitted to external cloud servers, third-party servers or developer backend servers. All generated color preview images and hair motion clips are saved inside the independent local gallery of the app, without automatic cloud backup or cross-device synchronization function.
All portrait facial data only exists inside user-owned mobile local storage space. Facial data will never be transmitted out of user device via network transmission; the developer team has no background access permission to view, obtain or copy any facial information from user local portraits; local operation logs generated by the app will never be bound with user facial data for user marking or classification management.
User Content Ownership Rules
All original portrait photos captured by user camera or imported from user photo library, all edited hair color preview pictures, and all rendered hair motion MP4 clips belong to the exclusive personal ownership of the user who creates the content. HairEthere does not obtain any usage right, editing right, ownership or dissemination right of user uploaded and generated content. Users have full autonomy to save, share, re-edit or delete all personal works at any time.
HairEthere will never claim ownership of user facial information attached to portrait content. We will not collect facial data to obtain user portrait authorization; we will not extract facial features from user works for internal use; we will not use user facial content for product iteration, algorithm training or commercial display without user voluntary permission; every portrait facial part is completely owned and controlled by users themselves.
Gallery Content Deletion Specification
Users can manage gallery content independently on their device: filter works by All, Colors or Clips, preview original and edited effect contrast, loop-play motion clips, export works to iOS system Photos, share content via official iOS share sheet, re-edit saved hair color works, delete single gallery item, or delete multiple items via confirmed batch deletion mode. Once deletion is completed, relevant files will be removed from user device immediately.
Any user deletion behavior will permanently erase all corresponding facial data together with picture, video and cover files from local device storage. The app does not set hidden folders, automatic backup programs or background replication functions to reserve deleted facial information; the developer cannot restore deleted facial data remotely; deleting gallery content equals complete removal of associated facial data with no residual data left on user device.
User Usage Responsibilities
Users shall take full responsibility for all portraits imported into HairEthere. Users promise that all uploaded portrait materials are legally owned or authorized for use, and users will not upload illegal, infringing, inappropriate portraits of third parties without legal permission. Users shall abide by local internet content usage norms when operating this application.
Even if users upload unauthorized third-party portraits by mistake, HairEthere still refuses to collect any facial information inside these portraits. The app will not actively identify, record or store facial data of third-party people on uploaded images; all content infringement risks shall be borne solely by the uploading user, and facial non-collection commitment will not change due to different portrait upload sources.
App Function Service Limitation
HairEthere provides simulated hair color and hair dynamic effect preview based on local AI algorithm technology. The app only provides offline reference effects for users’ offline salon hair styling, and cannot guarantee the generated preview effect is 100% consistent with actual physical hair dyeing and styling effect. The developer is not responsible for user subjective decision-making and offline consumption behaviors referring to app preview results.
Daily app maintenance, version update, algorithm optimization and function debugging will not trigger facial data collection behavior. Routine program adjustment only optimizes hair pixel rendering logic, and will not add any facial reading permission, facial data caching function or facial information collection module; version iteration will not change the core rule of isolating and not collecting user facial data.
Third-Party Component Usage Rules
HairEthere only uses native official iOS system components to realize photo access, system sharing, local file saving and screen display functions. The app does not embed third-party advertising SDK, face recognition tools, data statistical plug-ins, tracking programs or data collection code. The app will not carry out any data cooperation with external commercial institutions, data companies and face database organizations.
We will never share, sell, rent or transfer user facial information to any external third party. No cooperative third-party institution can obtain authorization to collect user facial data from HairEthere; no third-party tool inside the app can parse facial pixel content on portraits; facial data will not be used for commercial advertising push, big data statistics or face database building in any cooperation scenario.
Terms Update Rules
We reserve the right to update and optimize this Terms of Service to adapt to app function upgrade and service adjustment. Updated terms will be displayed in the More & Settings page inside the app for users to check voluntarily. Users’ continuous use of HairEthere after terms update means recognition and acceptance of revised service clauses.
Any revision of service terms will never cancel or weaken our facial data protection commitment. The zero facial collection rule, local-only facial storage rule and facial data non-transmission rule will always remain effective, and will not be modified or abolished in any subsequent terms update.
