Privacy Policy
Introduction
This privacy policy fully explains the local data operation rules, content processing rules and user content protection standards of HairEthere, an iOS exclusive hair styling preview application. All core application functions including Color studio and Motion studio can be used freely by all users without account registration, login authentication, email binding or identity verification of any kind. Users can access all editing, preview, saving and gallery management functions without creating any personal application account.
HairEthere implements comprehensive zero facial data collection rules in all application operation links. The application will never scan, identify, extract, record, cache, upload or store any facial feature information, facial contour data, facial pixel eigenvalues, eye nose mouth feature points, skin biometric facial markers, facial recognition parameters and face profile data from all user imported portrait photos, camera captured portrait materials, generated hair preview pictures and generated hair motion video clips. The application’s built-in program code has fixed facial area shielding rules, which actively ignores all facial areas of portraits, and cannot read any face-related information for user identification, behavior tracking, user profiling or data sorting purposes at any time.
Core On-Device Processing Rules
All preview generation, image rendering, video synthesis, gallery sorting and content editing behaviors of HairEthere run completely via on-device local processing on users’ iPhone or iPad hardware. No remote cloud server, background network server or third-party online computing server will participate in any content processing work. All operation data and temporary calculation files only exist inside user device local memory and local storage space.
All on-device AI computing models of HairEthere are limited to identify and modify hair area pixels only, the algorithm is preset to block all facial data reading access. The application will not obtain any facial structural information during local rendering; it will not retain facial temporary computing data after preview generation; it will not transmit any facial data to external network servers; it will not match facial information with user operation behaviors, and no facial data will be used to optimize internal algorithm models of this application.
Permissions Requested By HairEthere
HairEthere only applies for two basic iOS system permissions approved by users voluntarily, including photo library access permission and camera shooting permission, which are only used to help users import portrait materials for hair preview creation. The application will not apply for background camera monitoring permission, face scanning permission, biometric detection permission or hidden album reading permission.
When accessing user photo library or camera shooting content, HairEthere only reads overall picture file data instead of analyzing internal facial content. The permission calling program has no built-in face detection module, cannot extract facial biometric information from portrait files, cannot mark facial coordinate locations on pictures, and will not save any facial feature data generated during permission calling process. All portrait facial content is only visible to users themselves, and inaccessible to application program background.
Data Processing Rules of Color Studio
Users can import portraits from local photo library or real-time camera shooting in Color Studio, and select ten official fixed hair color presets including Milk Tea Brown, Chocolate Brown, Ash Brown, Warm Caramel, Cool Ash Blonde, Honey Blonde, Chestnut Brown, Natural Auburn, Wine Burgundy and Dark Espresso to generate hair recolor preview images. After tapping Generate, the local AI model only changes hair color effects, and keeps users’ original face features, hairstyle outline, clothing content and background scenery completely unchanged. Users can swipe to switch original and preview images, use Compare function, and pinch the screen to zoom details freely.
Color Studio will not collect any facial data in the whole editing flow. The AI color adjustment program only locks hair pixel area for modification, does not collect facial skin tone data, facial shape data, facial feature position data to adjust color effects; it will not backup original facial pictures to hidden local folders; it will not upload facial content along with edited hair pictures; it will not label user portraits via facial information, and every color generation operation will not leave any facial data record inside the application.
Data Processing Rules of Motion Studio
Users can select qualified portraits in Motion Studio, and choose four official hair motion styles including Soft breeze, Glam turn, Runway walk and Dreamy drift to generate about five-second local MP4 hair motion clips. The application will display real-time progress feedback during video rendering, and all video synthesis work is finished offline on user iOS devices. Generated motion clips will be stored locally together with color preview works uniformly.
Motion Studio never collects any facial dynamic data or static facial information during video production. The dynamic hair simulation algorithm only drives hair layer pixels to move, fixes facial layer pixels without any reading and collection; it will not extract facial frame data from generated MP4 videos; it will not identify facial expression features in portraits; it will not collect facial data to classify user favorite motion styles, and all video local cache does not contain available identifiable facial information.
Local Gallery Storage and Deletion Rules
All user saved hair color previews and hair motion clips are stored in an independent private local gallery on user’s iPhone or iPad. HairEthere has no official cloud server, no cloud synchronization function, no account-bound online gallery, and will not automatically backup user gallery content to any online space. Users can filter gallery content by All, Colors, or Clips independently. Users can view original works and preview effects, play looped motion clips, save works to system Photos, share content via iOS official share sheet, re-edit saved color works, delete single works or delete works in confirmed batch deletion mode.
The application does not collect, copy or backup facial data of any gallery stored portraits. All facial information attached to gallery pictures and videos only exists in user device local storage; once users delete any color look, motion clip or batch gallery content, the corresponding picture, video, cover file and all embedded facial pixel data will be permanently and completely erased from device local storage without hidden residual copies. The development team cannot retrieve deleted facial data remotely, and cannot view any facial content inside user private gallery.
User Temporary Cache Management Specification
HairEthere will generate temporary running cache during image recoloring and motion video rendering, which is only stored in device temporary running memory instead of permanent local storage. All temporary cache will be automatically cleared immediately when users exit editing page, abandon generation tasks or complete saving operations. Users do not need to manually clear cache files.
Temporary running cache generated by the application will not be used for facial data collection. The cached portrait content cannot be exported, analyzed or parsed by application background; the cache system prohibits extracting facial biometric data, facial feature points and face profile information; no cached facial data will be reserved for secondary use, and no background program will scan temporary memory to capture facial information at any time.
Third-Party Data Cooperation Rules
HairEthere only integrates official iOS native system components to realize sharing, album saving and screen display functions, and does not access any third-party statistical SDK, face recognition plug-in, data analysis tool or advertising tracking component. The application will not cooperate with advertising agencies, data statistical platforms, face database institutions and commercial information collection enterprises.
We will never provide, sell, rent or trade user portrait facial data to any third-party organizations. We will not authorize any third-party partners to obtain user facial information; we will not share portrait facial content for commercial marketing, big data sorting or face database establishment; all third-party system components used by this application are forbidden to trigger facial identification and facial data collection behaviors.
User Independent Privacy Control Rights
Users hold full and absolute control over all imported portraits, generated preview images and motion clips inside HairEthere. Users can decide saving, exporting, sharing, re-editing and deleting behaviors of all content freely at any time. Users can uninstall the application directly to clear all local application files on device. No platform authority will restrict user content management behaviors.
Users fully control all facial information attached to their portraits. Users can eliminate all local facial data by deleting gallery works or uninstalling the application; HairEthere cannot intercept user deletion behavior to retain facial data; the application will not actively collect facial data to limit user function use; user privacy operation behaviors will not be associated with facial feature files, and users can use all app functions without submitting facial verification information.
Application Interface and Operation Data Statement
HairEthere adopts exclusive purple-gradient interactive interface, equipped with bottom navigation bar including Studio, Gallery and More pages. The gallery page provides a quick entry for creating new color looks and motion clips. The application only records local operation preference logs such as preset selection and function click records inside user device, and will not upload operation logs to external servers.
All interface operation logs will not bind or collect user facial data. Operation preference records only record hair style selection parameters, completely separated from portrait facial files; the bottom navigation and quick creation functions do not trigger hidden face scanning; interface background programs do not monitor portrait facial content, and no facial data will be collected during interface switching and function clicking.
Policy Update Notice
We may optimize and update content of this privacy policy to match application function iteration. Updated policy content will be displayed on the application Settings page for users to check voluntarily. Continued use of HairEthere after policy update means users recognize updated privacy clauses.
Any policy update will never change the core zero facial data collection commitment of HairEthere. Updated clauses will not add any facial data collection behavior, will not open facial data uploading authority, will not change local-only storage rules for portrait facial content, and will not weaken user facial information protection rights in any circumstance.
